SUMMARY
INTRODUCTION
Fit Right In is an innovative arcade roguelite game taking place on a colorful game show see. Taking inspiration from the all classic game show, you must avoid cutout walls coming your way and fit the shape coming.
REFLECTIONS
This game jam was my second game jam and the theme Built to Scale made it hard in the beginning to come up with a fun game idea. The idea came from old game shows on television where there is a wall that the contestants had to get through in different poses. Then we added some more gamey features like the ability to also scale your character up and down.
During this project I worked mostly with scripting and getting the game to actually be playable but I did some game design as well for the different poses, wall designs and power-ups that we could use to make the game more interesting.
